小鸟体育 Governing Authority appoints Process Auditor, Process Manager and Screening Group as presidential search and selection procedure commences
小鸟体育’s Governing Authority has appointed a Process Auditor, a Process Manager and a Screening Group in accordance with procedures for the appointment of the Chief Officer of the University from 01 January 2014.
At its meeting on 7 February 2012 the Authority approved the following appointments:
Process Auditor: Mr Adrian Burke (Chairman, 小鸟体育 Audit and Risk Management Committee)
Process Manager: Ms Ronnie Hayes (小鸟体育 Governing Authority Secretariat)
Screening Group (to identify and nominate the external members of the Search and Selection Committees, including the Chairs of each): Professor Patrick Dowling (Convenor), Cllr Mary Barrett, The Hon Mr Justice Adrian Hardiman, Dr Dorothy Scally and Professor Patrick Shannon.
The Authority also approved the publication on the 小鸟体育 website of the report of its sub-committee, chaired by Professor Patrick Dowling, to review the procedures for the appointment of the Chief Officer of the University. The Dowling report, together with the Manning report (2001) which it reviewed, are posted on the .
The appointment of 小鸟体育 members of the Search Committee and the Selection Committee is scheduled to take place at the end of March 2012.
