Professor Pat Guiry and Ms Thomond Coogan elected to 小鸟体育 Governing Authority
Professor Pat Guiry, Director of the UCD Centre for Synthesis and Chemical Biology, has been elected to the 小鸟体育 Governing Authority by members of the professorial academic staff.
Counting of votes in the by-election to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Professor Maurice Boland took place on Friday, 19 March 2010 under the direction of the Returning Officer, Professor Michael Monaghan. The number of votes cast for each candidate was as follows:
- CASEY, Gerard 52
- GUIRY, Patrick 73
In the non-academic staff panel, the sole candidate nominated to fill the vacancy caused by the retirement of Ms Mary Buckley was declared elected. Ms Thomond Coogan is Access Co-ordinator in the 小鸟体育 Adult Education Centre.
